In honor of the first true hip hop show on the Zeiterion stage, we’re opening the doors to the next wave of creatives around the city – MCs, designers, and producers. Enter below for a chance to be part of the New B @ The Z story.

Each competition has its own entry form — you may enter more than one if it fits your craft.

MC / Rap Competition 16 Bar Verse
For lyricists ready to step on stage and into the booth.
Grand Prize
  • Performance slot at the New B @ The Z pre-show speakeasy
  • 4 hour recording session
  • 2 professional mixes + 1 master
What to Submit
  • A recorded 16 bar verse (no full songs)
  • Upload as an MP3 file
  • Clean or radio-edit strongly preferred

Your verse should showcase your voice, flow, and storytelling — imagine you’re opening the night.

Visual Flyer Competition Show Artwork
For designers, illustrators, and visual storytellers.

Required: You must use the provided assets in your flyer submission and design it as a 4 x 6 graphic at 300 DPI and submit your desing by Friday, March 20th, 2026.

Grand Prize
  • Your flyer becomes the official show flyer for New B @ The Z
  • $100 gift card for art supplies
  • 1 year Adobe subscription (Photoshop or Illustrator)
What to Submit
  • Flyer design featuring Caliph, Resto & SiahLaw as co-headliners
  • Include the date: May 23 and venue: The Zeiterion (New Bedford, MA)
  • Upload as a JPEG file

You can design in any style — just make sure it feels like New Bedford hip hop on a theater stage.
